How Mango Works

The core concepts — workspaces, agents, sessions, skills, and pages — and how they fit together.

Updated JUL 2, 2026

Most marketing stacks are a pile of tools that don't talk to each other — one app for generation, another for editing, a third for scheduling. Mango replaces the pile with a single workspace run by AI agents. This page explains the handful of concepts that make it tick.

Workspace#

The workspace is the top-level container. It holds your agents, connected social accounts, connectors, sessions, custom pages, and schedules. Teams share a workspace — every plan includes unlimited team members — and you can switch between workspaces from the user menu if you run more than one brand.

Agents#

An agent is an AI operator you deploy into your workspace. It's the thing that actually does the work: drafting posts, generating videos, running schedules, replying to opportunities.

Three things define an agent:

  • Deployment — you deploy a managed Mango agent, or import one you already run elsewhere.
  • Responsibility — each agent gets scoped access to specific accounts, connectors, and schedules. An agent can only touch what you assign it.
  • Activity — the Agents page shows recent agent activity and each agent's connected apps and logins, so you always know what it's been doing.

Plans are priced by agent count: one on Basic, three on Pro, unlimited on Business.

Sessions#

A session is a chat with your agent — the core work surface. You talk to it like a teammate: paste links, attach media, describe outcomes. The agent responds with drafts, videos, scripts, and analysis, and the pipeline panel on the right shows each step of a generation as it runs.

Longer-running efforts become missions: multi-step tasks with their own kickoff session and a mission board to track progress.

Skills#

Skills are the modes a session can run in. The default, Viral Max, reads your request and picks the best lane automatically. You can also choose one explicitly — AI Video, Story Video, Remix Clip, Talking Head, Short-Form Strategist, YouTube Script Writer, and more. Creating Content covers the full list.

Beyond session skills, agents have their own Skills and Playbooks pages — reusable capabilities and strategies you can apply across your workspace.

Pages#

Pages are purpose-built surfaces you add to your workspace as you need them. Presets include:

  • Content Calendar — planning, publishing slots, and scheduled work in one view.
  • Opportunity Feed — high-intent posts from Reddit, Hacker News, Product Hunt, and your connected accounts, each with a relevance score and a drafted response.
  • Tracked Creators — follow creator groups, track their posts, and bank reusable format learnings.
  • Outreach — outbound campaigns with target discovery, message strategy, and reply tracking.
  • SEO and SEO Roadmap — indexed pages, keyword opportunities, and article briefs.
  • Lead Magnets — build a free-value tool, publish it, and collect leads.

Pages can be renamed, starred, and duplicated, so your workspace grows to match how your team actually works.

Brand Vision#

Brand Vision is your strategy spine — where you define your brand, voice, audience, and goals. Agents use it as the source of truth when drafting, so output stays on-brand without you re-explaining yourself every session.

Automations#

Automations are recurring agent work: scheduled jobs that run on a cadence you set, like a weekly batch of short-form scripts or a daily check of your opportunity feed. Set them up once and the agent keeps the work moving. Publishing-specific scheduling is covered in Scheduling & Autoposting.

Mango Credits#

Credits are the usage currency. Generation and agent work consume credits; every plan includes a monthly allotment, and you can top up or enable auto-refill anytime. Details in Credits & Billing.

How it fits together#

A typical loop: you set your strategy in Brand Vision, deploy an agent with access to your connected accounts, then work through sessions and automations. The agent generates, you review and edit, the calendar and autopost system publishes — and the dashboard shows you what's working so the next loop is smarter.
